Plant Protection Products

We produce and handle environmental dossiers for the registration of Plant Protection Products (PPPs).

The Regulation 1107/2009 concerning the placing of plant protection products repeals Directive 91/414/EC establishes harmonized rules governing plant protection products and the active substances in these products. The process of authorization of plant protection products is based on risk assessment showing that there is no unacceptable risk to the environment, the consumer and the operator within the framework of Good Agricultural Practices.

Main objectives of the Regulation 1107/2009/CE are:

• Simplification, better definition and rationalization of the procedures,
• Increased level of harmonization across the EU and,
• Consistency of the text with the general policy of the EU in the same subject.

• Provisional authorizations,
• Mutual recognition and,
• Benchmarking.
